TEHRAN – Iran’s attorney general has said China will hopefully extradite 20 Iranian convicts, Mehr reported on Saturday.

Mohammad Jafar Montazeri said the issue of the convicts was brought up during his recent visit to China when he met with his Chinese counterpart on the sidelines of the summit of SCO attorney generals.

Montazeri also said Iran and China discussed cooperation on fighting terrorism. He added Iran proposed that an Iranian expert team visit China to investigate areas of concern.
